FHS junior QB/DB Jordan Wood helped the Mustangs get a much-needed win over the Santa Fe Indians to keep their playoff hopes alive. Offensively, Wood kept himself busy by running for 3 touchdowns and throwing for another. The junior 3-sport star also chipped in defensively with 2 interceptions.
“This might as well have been a playoff game here tonight,” Mustangs' head coach Steve Van Meter said. “Our guys played real hard, and I’m just really happy for our seniors. For them to come out tonight and win their last home game is something special."
