FHS' Ryan Teel featured in ESPN High School magazine

Friendswood High School cross country runner and basketball player Ryan Teel was featured in this month's ESPNHS Texas Edition magazine.  Teel was one of four Texas high school athletes highlighted in the "GOT GAME" segment of the magazine.

"Ryan Teel, Friendswood High School - Cross Country.

Teel has quietly become an elite harrier, finishing sixth and 12th in the state in the state as a sophomore and freshman, respectively.  But after seeing the Mustangs' streak of 16 straight District 24-4A titles and nine consecutive state meet appearances end last year, Teel is ready to make some noise.  The junior looks to repeat as district champ this month and stands as the top returning underclassman in the Class 4A field for November's state meet."
