'Stangs falter down the stretch; lose to Dobie

HOUSTON -- At 38-all with six minutes left in the game, it wasn’t looking too bad for the Friendswood Mustang basketball team.
But then turnovers reared their ugly heads and a 13-0 run by Pasadena Dobie over a five-minute span paved the way to a 55-41 win at the Dobie gymnasium Tuesday afternoon.

“We stopped being aggressive and we started being passive,”Friendswood head coach Jeff Keener said. “You can’t do that against a team like Dobie that’s going to get all over you.”
