Mustang Volleyball one win from State after sweep of Waller

CYPRESS — The Friendswood volleyball team is one win away from reaching the state tournament.

The Lady Mustangs (45-4) swept past the Waller Lady Bulldogs (35-9) in the regional semifinal match Friday night in Houston. The win pushed Friendswood into today’s regional championship game against Richmond Foster (37-10) at 1 p.m. at the Berry Center in Houston.
