Even though the plays have come fast and furious for him since, Jonathan Johnson remembers his first contribution as member of the Friendswood varsity football team in 2008.
“It was a bubble pass – I caught it and gained 10 yards,” the senior running back said. “All the butterflies went away right then. I felt like I could settle in and play.”
That was back in 2008 when Johnson was an unproven freshman.
